Actor Edgar Allan “EA” Guzman is set to leave for Hong Kong before New Year’s Day.
On the sidelines of the GMA Network Media Christmas Party in Quezon City on Tuesday night, EA said he will travel to Hong Kong with his mom on December 26 to celebrate her birthday.
“Aalis kami on December 26 papuntang Hong Kong para sa birthday ng mom ko,” the award-winning actor said.
For this year, EA said he will just spend Christmas with his family here in the Philippines.
The 31-year-old actor is currently part of GMA-7’s romantic-comedy series, One of the Baes, starring Ken Chan and Rita Daniela.
When asked what he would like to give as Christmas gifts for Ken and Rita, EA said a trip to Boracay will be perfect for them.

“Boracay trip para sa kanilang dalawa. Kasi kailangan nilang mag-relax,” the actor said.
“Sobrang workaholic kasi iyong dalawang ‘yon and sobrang busy sila kaya kailangan nila ng isang malupit na trip para ma-relax sila at makapag-unwind ng konti,” he added.
One of the Baes serves as a major reunion project after Ken and Rita unexpectedly became a love team in the successful Kapuso afternoon drama, My Special Tatay.
