Yen Santos recently talked about a former suitor who is now a member of the LGBTQ community. According to her, she was only able to discover this about five or four years after the failed courtship.
“‘Yun nga ang sinasabi ko, parang di ba hindi natin masasabi na na-in love tayo sa bakla or mai-in love tayo. Matagal bago ko na-discover, kasi parang matagal bago siya nag-out. Tapos after five years or four years saka ko lang nalaman.
Yen chose not to mention her former suitor’s name for privacy and respect, but she shared that he’s not a cross-dresser, and she’s happy that he’s now able to live freely.
To mark her 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry next year, Yen would like to work on a film that focuses on a lesbian relationship similar to Below Her Mouth. Among the female celebrities in the industry, Yen wants to be partnered with Angel Aquino or Anne Curtis. But in order to work on such type of a film, she hopes to have a trusted director to ensure its quality.
In the meantime, Yen’s upcoming movie Two Love You is set to be released in cinemas nationwide on November 13, 2019. The film revolves around three friends who have found love with each other, Hashtag Kid Yambao, Arlene Muhlach, MC Calaquin, and Lassy Marquez are also part of Two Love You.
