In a quick interview with Allan Diones at Luxent Hotel, 23-year-old Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez revealed that she wants to work on a lesbian film with Solenn Heussaff, as it’s one of the roles she’d like to take on.
While the interviewer got shocked by her revelation, she explained that by working on different roles, she believes that it would greatly help her acting skills.
She said: “Isa yon sa mga roles na gusto kong gampanan, kasi parang ibang atake. Kumbaga mas nag go-grow ang isang artista kapag iba’t ibang role ang ginagampanan. So, hindi lang tayo stick sa puro drama ka lang, puro ganito lang ‘yung ginagawa mo, puro iyak ka lang. Maganda ‘yung nakikita nila na ay ganito ‘yung ichura niya.”
As long as the story has a good plot, whether it’ll have intimate scenes, Sanya said she is willing to accept such offers.
“Okay lang, basta maganda yung story, tatanggapin ko po. Bilang close kami, si Solenn (Heussaff), ‘yun yung masarap kasama ‘yung walang arte kapag nakatrabaho mo..”
Although she was not able to get the role of Darna, Sanya is satisfied with the good results of GMA’s Dahil sa Pag-ibig.
Moreover, her next project, Isa Pang Bahaghari, enables her to work with some of ABS-CBN actors such as Michael de Mesa, Zanjoe Marudo, and Joseph Marco.
