Morissette Amon is currently gaining attention from netizens after she allegedly walked out of a concert where she was supposed to be a guest performer.
Morissette was one of the guests at Kiel Alo’s birthday concert at the Music Museum last November 6 but was not able to perform due to “medical and emergency issues.”
She was then lambasted by veteran actresses Daisy Romualdez and Annabelle Ramay.
During the opening of the Cinema One Originals 2019, Regine Velasquez was recently asked to comment about the singer’s walkout issue.
Asia’s Songbird stressed that she did not actually know what happened and said that she can’t give a comment about the issue.
“Alam mo hindi ko alam kung ano yung mga nangyari so it’s very hard for me to comment. I have no idea but I hope that she is okay,” Regine said.
She explained, “You know sometimes ganun talaga may pagdadaanan tayo.”
Regine also wished Morissette well as she copes with the controversy.
“I hope that God will give her the strength para mapagdaanan niya ng tama ito. Ang hirap kasi ang bata pa niya.”
Amidst the surrounding rumors about Morissette’s unprofessionalism, Regine assured the press that Morissette has a good personality,
She answered,”Oo mabait. She’s a good girl.She’s a really good girl. Yun ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya. And I know her personally na ha! Hindi na yung basta chika lang kasi nakakausap ko siya. Nagte-text kami”.
In her recent Instagram post, Morissette finally broke her silence about the issue and apologized to entertainment columnist and talent manager Jobert Sulcadito and his talent Kiel Alo.
Morissette explained that she was “triggered by the surprise interview minutes before performing” causing her breakdown.
