Ogie Diaz reacted to news about Vice Ganda’s romantic relationship with Ion Perez.
As the former talent manager of Vice, Ogie was supportive of the It’s Showtime host going public about his new romance.
May nandiri ba? Wala naman. E ganun talaga sa panahon ngayon. Kahit nga ma-in love ka sa aso ‘di ba? E happiness niya ‘yun e.
‘Yung humahalleluah sa kanya, ayaw niya no’n.
Ogie also praised Vice’s rumored boyfriend Ion for his kind gestures for the comedian.
“Mabait ‘yung bata, sobrang bait at sobra siyang mahal,” Ogie said to the press.

As a friend, Ogie also believes that Vice is happy with his love life now.
In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, Ion surprised everyone as he voiced out his love for the Unkabogable star in an interaction with the noontime show’s host.
Prior to this, Vice and Ion also set the internet abuzz after exchanging ‘I love yous’ to each other on the same show.
In Vice’s latest Instagram post, netizens began to become more speculative after comedian posted a picture of himself and Ion holding hands while playing basketball.
Although the two have been more vocal about their special connection lately, they have neither confirmed nor denied their relationship.

Prior to his It’s Showtime stint, Perez had already met Vice Ganda in October 2017 during a Gandang Gabi Vice taping. In that episode, Carlo Mendoza—or more popularly known as “gigil kid”—was Vice’s co-host. Carlo called out Ion who was later introduced to Vice.
In the March 17 episode of Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice finally confirmed he was in a romantic relationship without revealing the identity of his new love. This heightened speculations about their relationship.
During the launch of his newest book, Jose Marie Viceral: Tutoy, on June 6, Vice also addressed the rumors during an interview. He said that he and Ion are both happy with their current status.
