Ogie Diaz finally quashed rumors about his talent Liza Soberano allegedly giving birth in the U.S.A.
Last June, the Kapamilya star underwent finger surgery for an injury she sustained on the set of Bagani. Liza decided to stay in U.S. for a few months for the procedures but rumors persisted that it was ust an excuse for her to give birth abroad.
Recently, the issue was brought up again in an episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda but her co-manager Ogie strongly denied the allegations.
He said, “Hindi nangyari kay Liza iyon kahit kailan.”
Ogie also added that they presented evidence which debunked rumors about Liza giving birth in secret or having an abortion.
In a social media post online last July, Ogie blasted a radio DJ named Kapitana SISA of 106.7 Energy FM for spreading fake news which presumably targeted Liza.
Ogie then warned the DJ saying that he might consult a lawyer for possible legal options. The radio DJ deleted his video and made a public apology for spreading the false news.
Meanwhile, LizQuen is now gearing up for their reunion teleserye with director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
The upcoming series has no release date yet, but Ogie said that they already have shot two weeks’ worth of episodes. The real-life couple recently flew to Croatia to shoot the series titled Make It With You.
