Award-winning actress Maja Salvador confessed that she had long dreamt of endorsing the fast-food chain Jollibee.
“Bata pa lang ako kinalakihan ko na ang Jollibee. So parang ang bawat isa sa atin, dream na maging kapamilya ang Jollibee. So finally ngayon, I’m very…. very happy. Dream come true talaga na kapamilya na ko ng Jollibee,” Maja said during her launch as the new endorser of Jollibee Super Meals.
The multi-talented star admitted that she auditioned to be Jollibee’s newest celebrity endorser.
“Todo performance ang ginawa ko. Nandoon lahat ‘yong mga bosses ng Jollibee. Tapos nag-dance showdown kami ni Jollibee,” she narrated.
“Tapos, binubulungan niya (Jollibee) ko kung gusto ko raw maging kapamilya. Then sabi ko, ‘oo naman.’ Siguro na-feel talaga nila na gusto ko talaga maging parte ng Jollibee. Tapos ayun, after ilang months, eto na,” she added.
As a self-confessed loyal Jollibee fan since childhood, Maja said she and her family have always enjoyed eating their favorite Jollibee meals when they go out and for special occasions.
She said she loves eating Jollibee “combos” or combining different food products, especially when she’s hungry.
“Hindi isa. Combo-combo talaga ang binibili ko. Hindi dapat mawawala iyong Burger Steak, Spaghetti, and Chicken Joy. So minsan may combination pa iyan ng Jolly Hotdog and Peach Mango Pie,” she noted.
“With the Super Meals, nandoon na lahat. Lahat kakainin ko. Nauubos ko talaga,” she added.
Maja’s first Jollibee Super Meals TV commercial was released last October 16.
The ad showcased her showbiz prowess in acting, singing, dancing, and how having all these skills have made her a crowd favorite for so many years.
According to Jollibee Global Brand chief marketing officer Francis Flores, Maja truly embodies Jollibee Super Meals, where all the all-time favorites are merged into one meal.
“Maja is a true superstar with so many wonderful talents and a great showbiz personality,” Flores said.
“Much like our Jollibee Super Meals, she is definitely a lot of great things in one package,” he added.
Maja is currently under the management of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and is regarded as the “Dance Princess.”
She now plays the titular role n ABS-CBN’s teleserye The Killer Bride.
Just recently, the 31-year-old star won the Best Actress Award for her role in Wildflower at the Asia Content Awards in Busan, South Korea.
Aside from being an actor and a dancer, Maja also sings with her first music album titled “Dahan Dahan” released in March 2014.
