Kapuso actress-comedian Maey Bautista and The Clash alumnus Anthony Rosaldo renew their ties with GMA Artist Center as they signed their management contracts last Thursday, November 7.
Present in the contract signing were GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun S. Ferrer and Senior Talent Manager Joy Marcelo.
With years of experience in the news and entertainment industry, Maey continues to impress Kapuso viewers with her charisma and wit onscreen. She previously starred in Kapuso dramas Hiram Na Anak, My Guitar Princess, Haplos, and in various GMA News TV programs such as AHA!, Tadhana, May Tamang Balita, and Day Off.
For Maey, there are still a lot to look forward to as a Kapuso. She is currently gearing up for her role in the upcoming GMA drama series Love of my Life, “Nagpapasalamat ako na patuloy pa rin ang tiwala ng GMA sa akin at sa mga kaya ko pang ipakita. Very excited ako for this show dahil reunion namin ito ni Carla Abellana. Every taping namin ay masaya.”
Meanwhile, Anthony consistently wows his fans with his music. As a product of the original all-Filipino singing competition ‘The Clash,’ he is known for his vocal versatility as showcased in his successful singles under GMA Music entitled ‘Larawan’ and the most recent ‘Maghintay Ka Lamang,’ which became the original sound track of GMA Heart of Asia’s Korean series Sky Castle.
He shares that he is excited for the next chapter of his career as a Kapuso, “Parang lumulutang ‘yung pakiramdam ko eh, sobrang daming possibilities at projects na puwedeng mangyari, sobrang blessed ko. By next year, we will do the physical album na mag-iinclude ng mga originals gaya ng Larawan Mo, I think it’s about time na we focus on original songs.”
Ferrer assures these talents are in good hands with Artist Center, “Nagpapasalamat tayo sa kanila because they keep on improving in their chosen field at nakikita mo sa performances nila na gusto nila yung ginagawa nila. We’re excited to see more of them. The Network and Artist Center will continue to support them para mas mag-grow pa sila sa kanilang career.”
