GMA Network’s ‘Prima Donnas’ was able to beat ‘Kadenang Ginto’ in the past week but this week, the Kapamilya teleserye showed its power by leading again in its timeslot.
According to NUTAM People Ratings, ‘Prima Donnas‘ had a low start this week with 6.2% while ‘Kadenang Ginto‘ started with 7.6%. ‘Kadenang Ginto‘ was able to breach two-digit ratings again on Wednesday with 10.0% versus ‘Prima Donnas‘ at 7.8%.
‘Prima Donnas‘ and ‘Kadenang Ginto‘ had their closest gap of 0.8 points last Thursday where the Kapuso teleserye got 7.1% while the Kapamilya teleserye hit 7.9%.
In ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ Robert vows to start his life anew with Romina now that Leon is out of the picture. He becomes unstoppable in his plan to ruin Hector and begins to search for evidence on the latter’s illegal transactions. This puts Hector’s business in peril. With the same intention as Robert, Cassie refuses to give up on her dangerous scheme in hopes of attaining justice for her father. Later on, an unexpected revelation regarding Daniela takes the Mondragon household by surprise.
Things go south between Daniela and Robert when the Mondragon patriarch tries to shed light on the former’s possible involvement in the botched plan on his life. Insulted, Daniela reminds her father of his deepest and darkest secret. She soon takes the responsibility of leading Hector to his downfall and plans to exploit his weakness. Meanwhile, Mikoy’s shocking confession to Cassie threatens to end his friendship with Marga.
