Kapuso comedian and actor John Feir celebrates his 15th year in showbiz with a renewal of his management contract with GMA Artist Center last Wednesday, November 13.
Present during the contract signing ceremony were GMA Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun S. Ferrer and GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia.
John joined GMA as part of the production team of various programs such as ‘Lunch Date,’ ‘SST,’ and ‘Nuts Entertainment’ before he got his break in the variety show ‘That’s Entertainment’ in 1996 as Belli Flori.
According to him, having off-cam experience helped him a lot when he entered showbiz, “Napaka-worth it po. Marami po akong natutunan sa GMA. Noong pumasok ako sa GMA as production, malaking tulong sa pagiging artista, kasi nalaman ko lahat. Natutuwa ako na lahat ay pu-puwede ipagawa sa akin sa GMA.”
For almost a decade, John is a mainstay of the award-winning family oriented weekly series ‘Pepito Manaloto’. He previously starred in several shows like ‘Mahiwagang Baul,’ ‘Alyas Robinhood,’ and ‘The Cure.’
John is now looking forward to more projects with the Network and continue spreading good vibes to the televiewers, “Sa totoong buhay kasi, masayahing tao ako eh, sana more on comedies, kung mayroon mang drama na ibibigay, why not? Strike anywhere!”
Meanwhile, Ferrer expressed his enthusiasm in the actor’s dedication to his craft, “We are glad to see him grow more and more in the Network. Walang question sa galing niya sa pagpapatawa. GMA Artist Center will always support him in all his endeavors.”
