Twenty-one-year-old Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador was asked if her on-screen partner for The Killer Bride Joshua Garcia has moved on from his relationship with her real-life best friend Julia Barretto. Janella had told the press that Joshua is now happy and the actor seems to be enjoying his single life.
In fact, Joshua told Janella that he’s happy at the moment.
“Actually okay naman si Joshua, hindi ko siya nakitaan na depress or whatever, he’s fine. Happy naman siya ngayon, he told me happy naman siya nage-explore sa life by himself, he’s growing.”
Awkward moment with Joshua?
During the press conference of Janella’s upcoming horror film The Heiress, she refused to take sides on the breakup issue between Joshua and Julia. Janella also confirmed that there are no awkward moments with Joshua, despite the latter’s ex-girlfriend being her real-life best friend.
“Hindi naman, work is work naman, I’m so friends with Julia, but it does not mean na hindi kami pwede maging friends ni Joshua. Kahit love team kami on-screen, hindi naman kailangan sa totoong buhay, may something kami.
Current status of friendship between Janella and Julia
Janella and Julia are both busy with their personal commitments, as well as their respective projects, but Janella makes it a point to find time for her best friend whenever possible.
Janella shared, “Lately hindi ko na siya nakakasama masyado, kasi busy na din kami sa kanya-kanyang lives pero I texted her, I text her occasionally kung kamusta siya.”
