Kapuso actor Derrick Monasterio is no longer single.
In a report by Kaka Tibayan of GMA News, Derrick officially introduced Brazilian model Livia Dumont as his new girlfiriend during GMA Network’s Havana Night thanksgiving party. The Beautiful Justice star said it was love at first sight when he first saw Livia on Instagram.
“We’re like, been together for two months now,” said Derrick.
“She’s very sweet and ahmm..her smile is like infectious. Whenever she smiles you’ll smile too,” he added.
Just recently, Monasterio admitted during a presscon for their Kapuso series Beautiful Justice that he has not had a sex life for more than a year.
“Wala nga eh, pero hindi ako naghahanap kase. Yun yung maganda sa akin, kahit one year wala, okay lang. Promise, promise po, di ako naghahanap.
“Oo, one year nganga. Okay lang di naman yun importante eh. Ang importante ngayon yung work,” Derrick explained.
Derrick was also previously asked if he has had any experience with gays but he categorically denied this, adding that he’s too straight to even entertain the thought.
“Wala. Kasi straight talaga ako, e,” Derrick answered.
“Akala ko dati may chance kasi galing ako sa all-boys school, maraming gay dun. Yung mga kaibigan ko dun na dating straight, nagiging gay, e, dahil dun nag-aaral. Pero, wala talaga,” he added.
