The early problems of the 30th Southeast Asian Games or 2019 SEA Games have spurred several celebrities to air their disappointment about the incidents.
Bituin Escalante, Ria Atayde, and Khalil Ramos are just some of the celebrities who have aired their dismay about the problems encountered by the athletes even before the start of the SEA Games 2019.
I sincerely want the #SEAGames2019 to succeed as many friends are competing and performing and the success of all , including our organizers, is the country’s.
Kaya please Lang, ayusin niyo yan Phisgoc! Kitang kita ang discrepancies. Umayos kayo!— bituin escalante (@gobituin) November 24, 2019
We have allocated 6 Billion Pesos for the SEA Games and remain humiliated because of how the funds were used… regardless though, our guests shouldn’t be mistreated 🙃 I hope they sort this out 🙃🤦🏻♀️

Nakakahiya. “Handang handa na tayo”????????? https://t.co/KywMyyYtgj

Agot Isidro, who is known as a vocal critic of Duterte administration, firmly believes that no one wants to fail in managing the SEA GAMES 2019. The only thing to do now as per the actress is for people to step up and waste no time to improve what has to be improved.
Furthermore, she also suggested that SEA Games Organizers should admit their mistakes, specifically with the cauldron which cost P55million.
No one wants the #SEAGames to fail. What good will that do?
Stop this nonsense like demolition and sabotage, we did this to ourselves. I say we, because Pilipinas ang taya dito. Lahat tayo.
We win as one nga, di ba? And we also fail as one, kapag hindi maayos.
Step up tayo!

Bakit kasi di na lang aminin na nagkamali sila sa cauldron? 🤷🏻♀️
Kasi ang tataas ng Pride*.
*and that is how you use ‘Pride’ as an example of one of the seven deadly sins. 😏

Alan Peter Cayetano appeals for unity amidst early SEA Games miscues
With the increasing criticism from netizens and celebrities, Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISCOG) Chairman Alan Peter Cayetano strongly appealed for unity and said bashing their management skills won’t help the situation at all.
“Ugali talaga ng Pilipino kung kelan gawa na saka hihirit na dapat ganito, dapat ganyan. Having said that yung ibang criticisms naman, especially ‘yung ibang small problems hindi corruption, may katotohanan naman. Rather than react negatively, paano namin iso-solve lahat ‘yon. So, ang pakiusap ko lang, because this is our hosting, hosting ng buong sambayanan ‘to, hosting ng Pilipinas ‘to. Hindi ‘to hosting ng Duterte, hindi ‘to hosting ni Cayetano, so magtulong-tulong tayo. When you bash the organizing committee, it is to get us to act correctly or address efficiency, it’s most welcome. Pero when you bash us for the sake of bashing us, or because you don’t want the president or other people to get the credit, ang binabash mo ang sarili mong bansa.”
