It has been nine years since Aga Muhlach last appeared in a television series on ABS-CBN, which was M3 (Malay Mo Ma-develop) with Ai-Ai Delas Alas which aired for about three months from July 3 until November 27, 2010. He was last seen in a regular TV show, ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Boyband Superstar, in 2016 as one of the judges along with Vice Ganda, Sandara Park, and Yeng Constantino.
Although, he’s very picky when it comes to accepting projects, Aga confessed that he’s just waiting for an offer and he hopes to receive it soon.
“Naghihintay lang ako na may mag offer. Hindi naman ako magiging plastik, medyo pinipili ko lang talaga ‘yung gagawin ko siyempre. Parang at this point in time, kahit naman noon pa, even when they’re offering me mga soap, pinipili ko talaga.”
During the interview for his Nuuk movie with Alice Dixson, Aga expressed his wish to join the ABS-CBN’s longest-running TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano if given the chance.
Aga said, “I would love to try it, pangit naman ‘yung nagsasara ka ng pinto. Binibiro ko nga sila, yung Probinsyano parang gusto kong mag guest doon, para masama naman ako sa history ng Probinsyano.”
Aga has done two films since 2017, namely Seven Sundays which was nominated for Movie of the Year at the 34th PMPC Star Awards and First Love with Bea Alonzo in 2018 which garnered P6.3M on its first day.
