- Ryza Cenon thankful to Dreamscape for trusting her.
Ryza Cenon believes her network transfer was the right decision.
During the press con for the finale of Kapamilya teleserye The General’s Daughter, Ryza Cenon was asked about her experience with the Kapamilya network from being a longtime Kapuso.
“Sa totoo lang sobrang blessed ko, na parang for me it’s a right decision na nakalipat ako dito kasi mas lumawak yung mundo ko na andaming kong natutunan. Sa first show ko pa lang yun dito sa ABS-CBN so paano pa kapag binigyan pa ko ng ibang show so mas marami pa kong matututunan,” said Ryza.
“Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa Dreamscape kasi sila yung unang unang nagtiwala, naniwala sa kakayahan ko bilang artista,” she added.
Meanwhile, Ryza also didn’t hide her admiration for Angel Locsin’s work ethic. Ryza commended Angel’s professionalism despite her physical condition.
“Yung working attitude po nya. Like alam naman po natin na merong ano yung likod niya pero ginagawa pa rin po nya yun para sa show yung mga actions niya, yung mga fight scenes niya. Sobrang bilib na bilib po ako kay ate Angel kung gaano sya ka-professional,” Ryza said.

Prior to becoming a Kapamilya, Ryza spent 14 years of her career at GMA Network.
Ryza won as the Ultimate Female StarStruck survivor in 2004. Since then, she was given supporting roles on several Kapuso shows.
It was in 2016 that she became more popular via the hit GMA afternoon drama Ika-6 na Utos where she won several acting awards.
After Ika-6 Na Utos, Ryza signed with Viva Artists Agency after spending 13 years with GMA Artist Center. That move started speculations about a network transfer. In 2018, Ryza addressed the rumors by signing an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.
Ryza’s first assignment with ABS-CBN was FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano where she played the daughter of President Hidalgo (Rowell Santiago).
