After nine months playing the role of General Marcial de Leon in The General’s Daughter, Albert Martinez finally returns to Kadenang Ginto as Robert Mondragon.
Kadenang Ginto’s trailer last October 7, 2019, includes some scenes where, after his helicopter has crashed, Robert can be seen being pulled out of the water by an unknown character.
The recent events in Kadenang Ginto have led Romina Mondragon (Beauty Gonzales) to desperately ask for Daniela Mondragon’s (Dimples Romana) cooperation for a DNA test with Cassie Mondragon (Francine Diaz).
The DNA test will help Romina identify if Robert was her real rapist, and to put an end to her misery. Unfortunately, Rosita (Glydel Mercado) managed to replace the used spoon by Marga (Andrea Brillantes) when Hector (Joko Diaz) offered money.
Even Albert’s co-stars on the show do not have any idea whether he will return to the show or not. But, Andrea has stated that they would be glad to welcome him back.
She said, “We will welcome him back, kung babalik si Tito Albert. I’d like na maka-eksena siya uli, which is possible, since sa series, anak ako ni Tita Dimples, na kanyang anak.”
With all the good vibes that Robert gives to viewers, here are some of the reactions of netizens about his comeback in the afternoon TV series:
