The good performance in TV ratings of Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza’s ‘Wagas‘ episodes didn’t continue for this week.
As their ratings were getting closer based on the data released by NUTAM from October 7 to 11, 2019, this week it grew further apart as ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit’ concluded its almost seven-month run on October 18.
It was an upward spike for ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit’ on its finale week as it started at 6.0% last Monday (October 14) and ended last Friday with a double digit rating of 10.2%. Meanwhile its GMA Network counterpart ‘Wagas‘ only got 4.9% last Monday (October 14) and whittled down until Friday (October 18) with only 3.9%.
In the finale week of ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit,‘ Amber makes a life-changing realization following Mikmik’s assault. Bent on atoning for her past mistakes, Amber coordinates with the authorities to ensure Katrina’s immediate arrest. Tension arises when Michael comes face-to-face with the woman who mercilessly shot his beloved daughter. In heaven, Mikmik receives an enlightening reminder from Ella. Meanwhile, Ruth faces a huge challenge as Mikmik fights for her life.
Hesitant to part ways with her mother, Mikmik learns an important lesson from Ella. Ruth and Benjie, meanwhile, hold their newborn baby for the first time. Six months later, Divina reconciles with her long-time rival, the Villalunas. Likewise, Katrina makes amends with her daughters, Amber and Britney.
