A thriller, a fantasy-comedy, two action-comedies, two family dramas, a historical drama, and romance are the genres the moviegoers can look forward to starting Christmas day, when this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) films open in cinemas nationwide.
The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Executive Committee announced on Wednesday (October 16) the final 4 films that will part of the festival. The first four entries were based on script submission while the other four for the full length feature category were finished film submissions.
The Magic 8 or the eight official entries are:

The annual Parade of Stars is scheduled on December 22, and will be hosted by the city of Taguig. The 45th MMFF will run from December 25, 2019-January 7, 2020. The Gabi Ng Parangal will be on December 27 at the New Frontier Theater.
