Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo, one of the most admired celebrity couples, have been together for six years now. Though the couple have been quite low-key about their relationship, many of their fans are now raising questions about their wedding plans.
Matteo is currently 29 years old while Sarah is two years older at the age of 31.
An Instagram video last September revealed that the singer-actress was picked to be the maid of honor at the wedding of Giorgia Guidicelli, the sister of Matteo. It then showed a rare glimpse of Sarah’s closeness with Matteo’s family.
Considering this, are Matteo and Sarah already thinking about tying the knot any time soon?
“Sana, hopefully we’ll see,” the actor replied.
Matteo also feels overwhelmed that Sarah will take part in his sister’s wedding this December, a major family event.
“I’m very touched. Overwhelming yung feeling eh, parang you’re part of the family kumbaga.”
He added, “She’s very, very nice. Sarah is a great person and she’s gonna make my sister’s wedding extra special.”

When asked about their preferred wedding style, the actor played coy and laughingly replied, “Pag-usapan na lang natin next year. May Pedro Penduko pa tayo hahaha!”
Through a Twitter post last October 19, singer-songwriter Jason Dy seemingly confirmed that he was tapped as the singer for the couple’s wedding. Jason first revealed this in a recent episode of Magandang Buhay.

Matteo was recently announced as the new Pedro Penduko for an upcoming movie with a new director, Jason Paul Laxamana. The actor said he was happy and honored to take on the role.
“Sobrang overwhelming kasi we all know Pedro Penduko is a big, big name in Philippine cinema, in Philippine culture kumbaga. So it’s just an honor and priviledge to hopefully carry it out with justice and credibility.”
Does he feel pressured about portraying the iconic Filipino role?
“Siyempre sobrang pressured po. Basta gagawin namin ang lahat. We’ve been training for three months already. Direk’s writing a whole new fresh script. We’re very excited to give a new twist, new face on Pedro Penduko,” he responded.
The fictional character was supposed to be played by James Reid, but he quit due to a spinal injury, as announced by Viva Agency. The film is scheduled for release in 2020.
