Kapuso actor and comedian Archie Alemania has been part of the longest running sketch comedy gag show in the Philippine Industry, Bubble Gang, for three years now since last January.
For the 24th anniversary of Bubble Gang, Archie and his co-actors and comedians are very busy preparing for a spectacular show for their avid viewers.
In an interview by GMANetwork.com last October 21, Archie shared what Bubble Gang is preparing for its upcoming anniversary and what makes the show top other comedy shows.
He explained, “Institusyon! Ang show na gustong gusto ng lahat ng artista na mga nakakausap ko, kabilang network man o dito, kaya sobrang happy na nakasama ako sa Bubble Gang.”
Archie being a former Kapamilya star can’t stop himself from comparing the gag show from the other comedy shows that the other networks have to offer.
“Kasi sa kabilang network, ito ‘yung pangarap kong show eh. Sa kabila, ito ‘yung hinihingi kong show na gag show, eh hindi nila maibigay sa akin.
“Mas mataas ‘yung quality kasi dito. Siyempre nandito si Michael V., institusyon sa comedy ‘yan pagdating sa gag shows.”
Michael V. is one of the comedians whom Archie believes have made Bubble Gang as strong as it is now.
“Magmula pa ng Tropang Trumpo, Michael V. na, so iba talaga ang quality ng comedy ‘pag si Michael V. nandoon.”
He also mentioned on how particular Michael V. is on their script before it’s use for the show.
“Nasasala ni Kuya Bitoy, siya ‘yung papasa ba sa akin ito o hindi? May ganung salaan. So kapag nakalusot sa kanya ‘yung script ibig sabihin maganda at nakakatawa.”

Aside from Bubble Gang, Archie is also doing drama projects.
“Pero minsan hinahanap ng katawan ko ‘yung mag-drama naman paminsan-minsan. As an actor naman, gusto mo wide range naman ‘yung gusto mo gawin.”
“So nagagamit ko rin ‘yung ginagawa ko sa Bubble na iba-iba ‘yung characters doon sa pagda-drama naman.”
