- Marco Gallo is the new face of Viva Artists Agency (VAA)
- He is now being compared to James Reid
- He expressed his interest in working with Nadine Lustre
Former Teen Housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 Marco Gallo recently joined the roster of talents of Viva Artists Agency (VAA). He left Star Magic after his contract ended just this year.
Back in July 2018, the Filipino-Italian showbiz newbie announced that he was returning to Italy to resume his studies. But earlier this year, the actor flew back to the Philippines to continue his acting career.
At his recent contract signing, Marco reacted to claims saying that he could replace James Reid at Viva because of their similarities and eventually become Nadine Lustre’s new love team partner.
“Okay. I agree and will be happy if maging partner si Nadine. I like that, hahaha. Because she’s pretty. She’s very pretty.
“But ahhhmmm, being you know, the next James Reid, as I’ve said kanina, I think everyone has their own path.
“And I would be really happy to achieve something that he achieved. I will be so overwhelmed if I did that. And nasa akin din naman yon, eh. If I will work hard for it. If everyday do my own craft, it will happen.”
The 18-year-old actor said that he dreams of working with Nadine though it seems impossible due to her busyness.
“It would be a dream… No shame on the age,” Marco said while showing embarrassment on his face.
Marco was also asked if it’s okay with him to portray sexy roles with the Multimedia Princess if given the chance.
“I mean, I said earlier I’m gonna push my limits. I wanna see how good I’ll be in acting. I’m an amateur and working with someone like Nadine who’s been in the industry for so long, I’m gonna be so nervous every scene of course .I wanna really get better and I want to work harder,” Marco responded.
Marco gained popularity after joining Pinoy Big Brother 7 where he was tagged as the Pilyo Bello of Italy.
He’s been on TV shows like Wansapataym Presents: Amazing Ving (2017) and Ipaglaban Mo (2017), as well as in the movies Loving in Tandem (2017) and Harry & Patty (2018). He is currently part of the cast of The Killer Bride.
