Maine Mendoza and Carlo Aquino’s first movie together ‘Isa Pa With Feelings‘ debuted strongly in cinemas on Wednesday (October 16).
The latest Black Sheep film ‘Isa Pa With Feelings‘ raked in a total of P6.8M (unofficial gross) on its opening day as reported by PEP.ph.
The movie opened with more than 220 cinemas nationwide and is expected to add more this coming weekend because of numerous good reviews from reputable entertainment sites and word-of-mouth from those who have already seen the movie.

You have to understand why the movie was made for you to appreciate why it is "silent". Isa Pa With Feelings clearly knows what they wanted to convey to the viewers. I understood it, appreciated it, smiled, fell in love and cried with the characters.

During the movie’s grand presscon, Maine told the press that she is not aiming to equal or surpass the highest grossing Pinoy film of all time, Hello, Love, Goodbye which starred her former love team partner Alden Richards.
“Wala naman po kaming pinapatunayan, wala naman kaming ine-aim na pantayan o lagpasan po yung nakamit nila. We’re very happy sa success po ng pelikula nila at sa personal lives nila. Pero ngayon po ang aim po talaga namin is makagawa ng magandang pelikula para sa mga tao,” Maine explained.

In the film, Carlo plays Gali, a deaf man who becomes smitten with Maine’s character, Mara. As it turns out, the two are neighbors – and as they become dance partners and later fall in love, the pair must learn to communicate their feelings in ways that transcend language.
Directed by Prime Cruz, ‘Isa Pa With Feelings’ marks Carlo and Maine’s first time working together. Maine, who rose to fame as one half of the phenomenon that was the AlDub love team, is one of GMA Network’s mainstay stars. Carlo, who became famous as a child star, has reinvented himself as a heartthrob crooner and leading man du jour, starring in romance films such as ‘Meet Me in St. Gallen’ alongside Bela Padilla, ‘Exes Baggage‘ opposite his ex-girlfriend Angelica Panganiban.
