In an interview, DZBB anchor Janna Chu Chu Fontanilla asked Kapuso actor Ken Chan about his opinion when Kapamilya Alex Gonzaga denied the snubbing issue at the Davao airport last September 25, 2019.
According to Ken, they were able to patch things up with Alex. It’s just that people around them were quick to judge their situation.
He stated: “They were quick to judge the situation. But, for the three of us, we’re happy to patch things up. Alex was the first one to approach us and apologize for what happened in which she has nothing to apologize [for]. We didn’t feel any sadness or disappointments at all towards the issue. Maybe those people around us have misinterpreted the situation.”
In fact, Ken is looking forward to work with Alex soon, as both he and Rita Daniela are self-confessed fans of the famous YouTube vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
“What’s really important is we’re happy and we’d like to make sure that friendship still stays. I would love to work with her. Who knows the three of us will work together for future projects?”
The issue started when the veteran Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis accused Alex Gonzaga of snubbing the two GMA actors in Davao Airport that was based on her unidentified source. Whereas, YouTube Vlogger denied the issue and said:
“Ayy nanay Lolit di po tayo magkakilala pero sino po source niyo mukhang mali ata, kasi nagkamayan at nag hi pa po kami sa isa isa at lahat ng artists sa lounge. Niretweet ko pa si Ken noon dahil nagchambe chamber siya. Lastly, Salamat po sa mga salita niyo tungkol sakin ah, heartwarming.”
In addition to that, Alex replied to a netizen in the comment section of Lolit’s post, reiterating that maybe because of her loud image, people can make up stories. But, it’s okay since her family and friends know who she really is.
Moreover, Rita Daniela has stated that they were able to discuss the issue, and hopefully, the issue should be gone by now.
“Nagkausap na po kami, okay naman na kami ni Alex. So, sana po wag na po nating gawing issue, sana po tapos na po ung issue. Kasi it shouldn’t be a big deal naman po talaga and the important thing is we’re okay.”
