It seemed that Julia Barretto is the biggest casualty of the recent controversy which involved Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.
Julia’s career has been quiet ever since the love triangle issue with Gerald and Bea broke out.
She already lost the endorsement she previously shared with former boyfriend Joshua Garcia.
There has also been no news about new projects in the next few months.
Meanwhile her supposed mystery-thriller film Block Z was already put on hold earlier this year. According to its director Mikhail Red, the special effects needed for the film would take some time to finish.
As a result, Julia started to venture into vlogging.
A few weeks ago, Julia announced that she’s officially joining the vlogging world via an Instagram post.
“It’s official, I’m going to be on YouTube! I’ve been thinking really long and hard about this for almost a year already,” she wrote.
“Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to finally do this,” she added.
Her first video was on her preparations for the ABS-CBN Ball which she uploaded a week after the event.
Noticeably some celebrities who ventured into vlogging are those who started to have less showbiz offers.
In the case of Julia, among the four (Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Joshua Garcia, and herself) involved in the controversy, she’s the only one who has noticeably suffered.
Joshua is currently doing the top rater The Killer Bride with Janella Salvador. He also appears in several TV commercials.
Gerald on the other hand will be part of the upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye A Soldier’s Heart.
Bea also has a new telserye with Rafael Rosell and Richard Guttierez plus a Star Cinema Movie also with Richard and Angelica Panganiban.
