Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta finally patched things up during the Gabay Guro event held in Mall of Arena last September 22, 2019. It can be recalled that the rift between the former couple started during negotiations for their reunion movie right after their Mcdonald’s commercial was released.
During the Beautederm launch event with Gabby as their newest brand ambassador, the veteran actor confirmed that his reunion movie with former wife Sharon will push through.
He said, “Okay na, nakapag-usap na kami, positive naman. Hinihintay na lang namin na matapos ang mga shows niya.
“Noong araw ko pa naman na ginugusto kong maging okay na kami. Nagkakaroon lang ng misunderstanding, misinterpretations, mixed emotions, different feelings. Pero ngayon, nakapag-usap na kami na kami lang dalawa, wala ng iba, kaya nabuo ang plano naming at sana matuloy.”
Furthermore, Gabby and Sharon are both planning to co-produce their reunion film. But the veteran actor insisted that they still need other producers to ensure the quality of their upcoming reunion movie.
“Of course, kailangan rin namin ng ibang producers, para everybody happy, magkakatulungan. Hindi mo naman pwede solohin so magkakaron ng major producers.”
Meanwhile, Gabby hopes that they would be able to come up with something out-of-the-box that their fans will absolutely love.
“We really really need a good story, so if everybody has a really good story out there, it should be something out of the box, kakaiba.”
The last project of this former couple was in 1992, Tayong Dalawa.
Gabby married Sharon in July 1984 and the Megastar gave birth to daughter KC Concepcion the following year.
