In an interview with Chika Minute entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas, Kate Valdez was shocked to hear about the issue about her attitude problem and sense of entitlement for the second time around.
According to the 19-year-old Kapuso actress, she’s proud to say she’s not well-off.
“Na-shock ako kasi hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling. So parang, napaisip ako kung may nakaaway ba ako o may nasabihan ba akong hindi maganda. Wala naman akong car, wala naman akong sariling bahay, nagre-rent ako, and I’m proud to say na hindi ako mayaman.”
Kate also confessed that these issues have already affected her. It has led the Kapuso actress to question herself.
“It’s so challenging at nasa-sad ako kasi nami-misinterpret nila ako na hindi naman ako ganoon. So, naku-question ko yung sarili ko na, nasaan ‘yung mga kabutihang ginawa ko before? Hindi n’yo ba naalala ‘yun?”
Kate Valdez booted out from Studio 7?
Kate Valdez clarified that she was not booted out from GMA’s Studio 7 show due to her attitude problem and sense of entitlement. To address the issue once and for all, Kate has stated that it was not true.
She also admitted that she had to let go some of her GMA Network projects to focus on her studies.
Kate firmly believes that these intrigues about her are just testing ground for her faith in God.
“Yung mga issue na yan, sinusubukan rin kami kung gaano kami katatag dun sa faith naming kay God and ‘yung mga naka-surround sa amin. And I’m happy kasi mas nanaig pa rin ‘yung pagmamahal ni God para sa akin. Mas nanaig pa ‘yung good stuff na you are loved and you are enough.“
Kate on coping with issues
Through the constant support from her family and friends, the Kapuso actress was able to cope with all the issues, and she has learned to be more conscious about her actions.
She said: “Importanteng may nakakausap ka, importanteng may nagbibigay sa ‘yo ng encouragement na good thing. Sobrang conscious na ako, baka may masabi ako na hindi nila nagustuhan.”
