In an interview with DJ Jhai Ho for Jeepney TV’s Showbiz Pa More segment, Dominic Ochoa revealed the secret behind his successful career over the years. Dominic said he appreciates the people behind the camera and his co-actors on every project he does.
“I always believed from the very start nag ABS-CBN ako. I always believe in their production team, the directors involved, kayong lahat na nandito, naniniwala ako sa kakahayaan nila.”
Dominic also praised ABS-CBN for having good directors to provide quality work and scripts continuously.
He stated: “Iba pa rin dito sa Kapamilya, it’s home. We have quality scripts, quality directors, quality work.”
He confessed earning money from the projects he worked on is just a secondary reward. What’s more important for him is to keep improving his acting skill, and that’s what really challenges him up to now.
“Gusto kong umuwi hindi dahil sa pera na bulsa ko, oo we work for the money. Pero, mas important sa akin yung na cha-challenge mo sarili mo. Pa minsan hindi ka satisfied sa ginawa mo, you know you can do better. All you have to do is trust the script, your work. Sometimes yung akala mo hindi mo nagawa, akala mo 90% lang nagawa mo, okay na pala sa TV.”
