During the wake of Miguel Barretto, the Bandera media team was able to conduct a quick interview with Claudine Barretto inside—of all places—the bathroom.

They asked about the confrontation that happened on the second night of the wake. Marjorie was reportedly furious upon Gretchen’s arrival at their father’s wake.

Furthermore, Marjorie became irate when she noticed an entertainment press-member arriving that night, and she thought Claudine was the one who invited the media members that have led to the two sisters into a physical confrontation.

Another revelation during the quick interview was that the 40-year-old actress got deeply hurt when her niece Julia shouted foul words at her.

Claudine admitted: “Ang na-feel ko? Nasaktan ako kasi parang anak ko mismo ‘yung gumawa sa akin non e.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Patrol correspondent Mario Dumaual, Julia Barretto has stated that it’s natural for everybody to be concerned. Thus, it’s best to give their family the privacy and respect to resolve their issues at hand.

“I think it’s natural for everybody to be concerned but I think it’s also nice if everybody would give the family the privacy and respect to resolve their issues.”

Julia denied Claudine’s revelation that she was shouting foul words towards her aunt. Julia said: “Hindi ko po laban, I can’t speak for them. I don’t have the right to speak any of them, Wala pong katotohanan na may nasaktan ako.”

To divert the topic, Julia said that she’ll be praying for the best and being kind to each other would be the greatest thing to do as of this moment.

“I’ll be praying for them. Pero for now, my energy, my time, I would like to spend it on the blessings that I have been receiving, God has been so good. Protect your energy and protect your time. And i-spend natin ‘yan sa mga bagay na mabuti. Let’s be kind to each other. We’re all praying for the best. The Lord knows the truth.”
