Dani also commented on Bela’s post as proof that all was well with her best friend.
“So happy you two finally met! Love you, Belyy!” Dani commented.
Bela then replied with a heart emoji.
In an exclusive interview with PEP, Bela finally clarified the “big misunderstanding” which created rumors about their friendship. Bela admitted that they were heavily bashed after their unfollowing issue. This came after Bela was accused by some netizens of “taking sides” in the issue involving Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, and Julia Barretto, Dani’s younger sister.
“I feel like it was so unnecessary na it came out as, like, a news article, or it was even talked about. Kasi, we both got bashed after,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Bela also said that the misunderstanding, which can happen to any relationship, was no big deal to them.
“Like in any kind of relationship, we go through things. But Dani and I are okay. In fact, we were talking last night so it’s not, like, something bad happened to us. Obviously, kunwari mag-boyfriend or magnanay, magkapatid, meron konting tampuhan minsan. So it was something that simple lang. But it was blown out of proportion on social media lang. But it’s really nothing.”
She continued, “It was really a big misunderstanding.”
The actress also explained how they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
“Actually, ano ‘to… because some fans messaged both of us. Like, a fan messaged me that Dani unfollowed me, so I checked. And yun nga, I saw that she did, so I got annoyed. Ganun lang. Mababaw.”
Bela addressed the issue during the press conference of her new movie Mañanita at Romulo Café in Quezon City.
