Teen star Andrea Brillantes opened up about the real status with her love team partner Seth Fedelin. The two were first paired up in ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon drama Kadenang Ginto.
Viewers noticed the chemistry and closeness between the two and speculations about their brewing romance only grow stronger each day.
During her recent launching event as the latest endorser of Asvel Philippines, Andrea revealed exciting details about their characters in the afternoon series.
“Si Marga (Andrea) parang medyo nagkaka-feelings siya for Mikoy (Seth). So abangan natin kung paano niya iha-handle kasi hindi niya naiintindihan. Ayaw niyang magkagusto kay Mikoy pero alam na niya gusto na niya si Mikoy. Abangan na lang natin kung paano ihahandle ni Marga,” Andrea shared.
Andrea and Seth’s love team dubbed as SethDrea is now gaining ground. They also managed to accumulate numerous fans in just a few months since they were paired up.
Does Andrea feel pressured about maintaining their love team?
“No, kasi ever since nung na-meet ko si Seth parang never nagkaroon ng pressure kasi parang narural na lang yung chemistry namin nung na-meet ko siya parang after a day. Sa first ever taping namin sa Kadenang Ginto naging close agad kami kasi halos magkalapit lang ugali namin. Madami kaming similarities.”
Andrea was then asked about the real status of their relationship. The 16-year-old actress only gave a vague answer when she was asked if Seth was courting her. Though she added that they are now forming a deep bond of friendship with each other.
“Para sa akin dapat po sa mga lalaki tinatanong yan pero mas lumalalim yung friendship namin, yung samahan namin. Mas nakikilala ko siya, mas nakikilala niya ko and yun pa lang naman po. Mas nag-focus kami sa trabaho ngayon. Pero alam ko nandiyan siya para sa akin at alam naman niyang nandito ako para sa kanya,” Andrea revealed.
When asked about the current label of their relationship, Andrea gave a wide smile and said ,”I care about him a lot.”
What are Andrea’s differences with Seth?
“Sobrang bilis ko magreply. Siya mga 2 minutes, 3 minutes, bago magreply. Ako mabilis lang magreply kahit kanino. Tapos pagkakain siya ng streetfood merong sauce, ako walang sauce. Mga ganung klaseng bagay lang.
What are their similarities?
“Sa music, sa kulit namin, tapos sa trabaho, sa priorities, sa mga dreams namin for his family and my family. Madaming bagay, sa mga kalokohan madami.”
Though they have been known as close friends in public, Andrea said there is still one thing people don’t know about their friendship.
“Madami na kaming pinagdaanan actually. Sa fourth time na nagkakilala kami madami nang nangyari pero mas nagiging strong yung relationship namin.”
What is her favorite memory with Seth?
“Birthday niya and June 23,” Andrea shared.
Apart from their stint on Kadenang Ginto, Andrea and Seth are also set to star in an iWant movie titled Wild Little Love to be released this November.
It is a romance-drama where they will act alongside showbiz veterans Carmina Villaroel, Alfred Vargas, and Victor Neri, as well as Kadenang Ginto co-star Criza Taa and It’s Showtime’s recently crowned Ultimate Bidaman Jin Macapagal.
