After the success of Hello, Love, Goodbye led by Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is now open to the possibility of making her second Star Cinema film.
Marian gave birth to her second child with Dingdong Dantes, Jose Sixto Dantes IV, last April. After being on hiatus, the actress said that she is now ready to make her comeback on the big screen.
“Why not? Sure, why not. Kung may magandang offer at papayagan ako ni Mother Lily (Monteverde) e di gagawin natin,” she said.
She admitted that she turned down some offers in the past.
“Actually, may na-pending akong dalawang pelikula bago ako mabuntis e. So tingnan natin kung magagawa ko na.”
Marian also mentioned about her possible movie with Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual.
“Hindi ko rin nagawa. Tapos na sila, hindi ko rin nagawa,” she answered.
Marian had her Star Cinema film Kung Fu Divas with former Kapamilya Ai-Ai delas Alas in 2013. The comedy film marked her first-ever collaboration with ABS-CBN network.
The actress was featured in several shows of ABS-CBN for the promotion of their film including Kris TV, Showbiz Inside Report, Bandila, and The Buzz. She went back and forth to ABS-CBN for days and was present during the grand press conference held at the Dolphy Theater.
She also starred in several films at GMA Network including Enteng Kabisote 2: Okay Ka Fairy Ko: The Legend Continues, Desperadas, My Best Friend’s Girlfriend, Super Inday and the Golden Bibe, My Lady Boss, and My Big Bossing’s Adventures.
