‘Wagas’s return as a daily morning series from GMA News TV to its main channel GMA Network resulted in disappointing TV ratings.
Its first month-long story titled ‘Throwback Pag-Ibig‘ starring Mike Tan and Sunshine Dizon about a couple rebuilding their family after losing their child (Leanne Bautista). The couple will now try to fix the broken pieces and the heartaches they encountered when they lost their child.
Directed by Adolf Alix Jr., ‘Wagas’ is under the production of GMA Public Affairs, also stars Iyah Mina, Regine Angeles, Leanne Bautista, and Lovely Abella.
Meanwhile, ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit‘ remained the most-watched drama on pre-noontime timeslot.
Lolo and granddaughter David (Dante Rivero) and Mikmik’s (Sophia Reola) fun bonding moment is cut short when the authorities arrive to arrest the former. Mikmik begs the police officers not to take her sick grandfather, but to no avail. As soon as he learns about his father’s arrest, James (Enzo Pineda) realizes how this controversy will greatly affect the company and its employees. Because of this, James and Michael (RK Bagatsing) make a difficult decision. Divina (Pilar Pilapil) and Katrina (Cristine Reyes), on the other hand, celebrate the start of David’s downfall.
