After the success of Hello, Love, Goodbye starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, the idea of actors working with other actors from different networks has never been more possible.
During the contract signing of Kapuso actress Bea Binene as the new endorser of Erase Placenta, she was asked about the possibility of her working with Kapamilya actors under Star Cinemas.
Bea revealed that she is open to the idea. “Parang sino ba naman ang aayaw sa trabaho?”
Bea was even proud of the record-breaking success of Hello, Love, Goodbye. “Record-breaking kasi yung ginawang pelikula ni Alden at ni Kathryn. Hindi lang dahil pinakakumita siya, highest-grossing Filipino movie, pero para sa akin, record-breaking din siya, kasi ang ganda.
“Different world, different environment, different people.”
If she gets the chance to work with another network, she believes it would help her grow as an actress,
“I think growth din naman yun, different experience for sure. If ever magkaroon ng ganung opportunity, I would be very, very grateful.”
But who would Bea choose as a love team partner?
“In fairness kasi sa guys nila, like sina Enrique (Gil), Daniel (Padilla), Joshua (Garcia), mahuhusay umarte, di ba? Parang ang gagaling, so kahit sino mapunta, magtutulungan talaga kayo, maghihilahan kayo pataas.
“Kahit naman sino. Choosy pa ba? Binigyan na nga ng trabaho, choosy pa ba?”
Bea stars in Beautiful Justice with Yasmien Kurdi and Gabbi Garcia and directed by Mark A. Reyes V. The series is pitted against the longest-running ABS-CBN primetime series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Bea wishes that Beautiful Justice won’t just be seen as a rival of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
“Pero sabi ko nga, sana hindi nila makita ang Beautiful Justice as something na katapat lang ng Probinsyano. Sana pag napanood nila, bigyan nila kami ng chance na walang bias.”
Beautiful Justice premiered last Septmeber 9, replacing the drama culture anthology series Sahaya.
