- Rita Daniela and Ken Chan aired their side about allegedly being snubbed by Alex Gonzaga
- Alex was called out by Lolit Solis for the alleged snub
- The two Kapuso stars implied that the issue was not a big deal
GMA artists Rita Daniela and Ken Chan finally aired their side about allegedly being snubbed by Alex Gonzaga at an airport in Davao.
The issue came about when entertainment columnist Lolit Solis called out Alex for supposedly ignoring the two Kapuso actors who approached her.
Lolit took to Instagram on September 23, Monday to express her disappointment in the Kapamilya actress.
Wow. Snob? Big star?”

In an interview after the Kiko En Lala premiere night at SM Megamall last September 24, Tuesday, love team partners Rita and Ken finally aired their side regarding the issue.
Rita said that they had already discussed the issue with Alex and patched things up.
Kasi it shouldn’t be at the beginning naman po talaga. The important thing is we’re okay,” Rita stated.
Ken added that the Kapamilya actress’ behavior was just misinterpreted during that time presumably because of stress or bad mood.
So ang daming tao, so nakita nila yung pag-meet namin and natuwa yung mga tao kasi nag-meet ang GMA, Kapamilya so natuwa yung mga tao. Then, siguro na-misinterpret ng mga tao. Ganun yung pag-take nila sa sitwasyon.”
Despite the issue, Rita and Ken confessed they are fans of the famous YouTube vlogger. Rita said that the recent incident was not a big deal for both of them.
The My Special Tatay star even expressed his wish to experience a ball held for ABS-CBN and GMA Network actors to set aside the competition between the two networks.
Earlier, Alex denied that she snubbed the two artists following the Instagram post of Lolit. She commented that she even shook hands with them and greeted the two Kapuso stars.
“Niretweet ko pa si Ken noon dahil nagchambe chambe sya, ” she said referring to her viral song “Chambe” which became a popular online challenge.
Alex is known for being involved in a number of issues. The actress recently made noise on social media after she was called out by a netizen for allegedly cutting in line at an airport.
She was also criticized last year for having an “arrogant” attitude and “condescending” social media interactions resulting from her intriguing vlog disclaimers. Earlier this year she was almost declared persona non grata for her comments about a mayoralty candidate. In 2015, the actress was rumored to have lost two ABS-CBN shows allegedly because of her attitude problem.
