- They admitted that they felt nervous in doing their scenes in the series

The premiere date of GMA Network’s upcoming series One of the Baes is drawing near. It’s main cast members Rita Daniela and Ken Chan are now making preparations for their TV comeback. But the two stars admitted that they felt nervous doing their action-packed scenes in the series.
Rita will play a marine student named Jowa while Ken plays an environmental vlogger named Grant.
Ken narrated about his free diving scene which he will be doing for the first time,“Grabe, kasi tatalon ako tapos mag-dive ako. Kasi ang eksena may kailangan akong kunin na dinamita sa ilalim ng dagat pero pagtalon ko ipapakita namin kasi ‘yung ganda ng dagat, mga coral reefs, iba’t-ibang isda.
“May mga kasama naman po kaming divers. Ang goal sa eksena na ito, maipakita ‘yung ganda ng dagat habang lumalangoy. Medyo kinakabahan ako kasi first time kong mag-free diving ng walang apparatus,” Ken added.
Rita shared that she underwent an immersion as a marine student with her co-stars Joyce Ching and Jelai Andres.
“Mahirap kasi first time and nag-shoot kami ng kalahating araw from 6 am to 5:30 pm. Na-konsumo namin lahat ng init ng araw habang ginagawa namin lahat ng training, lahat ng drills, push-ups, sit-ups, lahat ng training ng marine students. Nahirapan din kami.
“Natutunan namin mag-formation with the rifle, paano ‘yung tamang paghawak ng rifle. It was fun even though it was hard… pahirapan lang talaga. ‘Yung init ‘yung kalaban mo talaga.”
She revealed that there will be do more of the breathtaking scenes for the show.
“For sure, marami pa kaming ganoon. Meron at meron kaming mga kukunan na scenes na nagdi-drills kami sa field, dala namin ‘yung rifles.”
Rita was also happy that the One of the Baes cast has been getting along well despite their busy schedules.
“Masaya kami sa taping, nahihirapan lang kami kasi ang dami naming take kasi tawa lang kami ng tawa. Lahat kami pati ‘yung mga baes, sila Kuya Archie, naging parang pamilya na kami. Tumawa lang ‘yung isa nahahawaan lahat kasi sobrang close talaga,” Rita shared.
One of the Baes is a romance comedy series to be led by the RitKen love team. It is set to be broadcast on on September 30, 2019 in the Kapuso Telebabad line up.

It is presumed to be the replacement of The Better Woman series which started to air last July 1. With this in mind, it will become the newest competitor of ABS-CBN’s gothic romance The Killer Bride.
