Pru Life UK was conferred an Award of Excellence (Communications Management – Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications) for its innovative INSURAVEST campaign.
The term “insuravest”, a portmanteau of “insurance” and “investment”, was coined by Pru Life UK in 2017 to further align its brand identity with its commitment to help Filipinos achieve their financial goals through a comprehensive range of financial solutions.
The INSURAVEST brand campaign was anchored on a light-hearted TV commercial which used simple and clear messaging to communicate the benefits of investment-linked life insurance products.

The campaign adopted an aggressive yet efficient approach in terms of media placements and was supported by a digital campaign to ensure wider reach.
The campaign resulted in significant increase in Pru Life UK’s brand awareness and brand attributes, including trustworthiness and approachability.
More importantly, the campaign resonated well with the Pru Life UK agency force, which saw value in promoting insuravest solutions in their engagement with potential customers looking to protect their health and grow their wealth.
The Company also received an Award of Merit (Communications Management – Corporate Social Responsibility) for “Build Better Now”, a rebuild and recovery programme by Pru Life UK and Prudence Foundation, the community investment arm of Prudential in Asia, for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda.

The programme also contributed 183 motorized boats with fishing nets and 140 cycle rickshaws or pedicabs for the Yolanda survivors. Today, Pru Life UK continues to support Bantayanons through various outreach activities.
In addition, Pru Life UK scooped an Award of Merit (Communications Skills – Special and Experiential Events) for PRURide PH 2018.
The largest cycling festival in the country, PRURide PH 2018 engaged more than 2,000 riders from all over the Philippines and Asia to help increase awareness of cycling as an alternative mode of transport and contribute to building an environmentally-friendly community for generations to come.
