- She praised the two actors for their down to earth personalities
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is very happy for the success of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards and their highest-grossing Pinoy film of all time, Hello, Love, Goodbye.
The Star Cinema film has now grossed worldwide earnings of more than P880 million since it was released last July 31.
Alden has now become a prime talent of GMA Network while Kathryn was hailed as the superstar of her generation after starring the blockbuster film.
“Alam mo, dapat ang tao, kapag ang isang tao ay nagiging successful at nasa taas, dapat gawin mong inspirasyon yun para ikaw din sa sarili mo, mangarap kang ganun,” Marian said. “Kaya kung ano yung narating ni Alden, at saka ni Kath, sobrang happy ako para sa kanila kasi napakabait nung dalawa sa akin.”
Marian and Alden have worked together on the GMA Network series My Beloved (2012), Carmela (2014), and in the variety show Sunday PinaSaya. Kathryn last worked with her in the Kapuso teleserye Endless Love (2010), wherein she played as the young Marian.

Marian also praised the two stars for being down to earth despite their successes in showbiz.
“And si Kathryn, napaka-sweet din kasi kahit parang nasa taas na siya, nung birthday ko, grineet pa din niya ako. Si Alden din naman, di nakalimot, nagpadala din ng flowers nung birthday ko. So, nakakatuwa yung ganung tao and sana tuluy-tuloy ang magiging success nila sa buhay,” she shared with the entertainment press during the media conference of Tadhana last September 5, Thursday.
Marian had her Star Cinema film Kung Fu Divas with former Kapamilya Ai-Ai delas Alas in 2013. The comedy film marked her first-ever collaboration with ABS-CBN network.
The actress was featured in several shows of ABS-CBN for the promotion of their film including Kris TV, Showbiz Inside Report, Bandila, and The Buzz. She went back and forth to ABS-CBN for days and was present during the grand press conference held at the Dolphy Theater.
Most of her fans are also clamoring for her second movie collaboration with Star Cinema. The chances of her comeback project with ABS-CBN are high since her real life partner Dingdong Dantes has been doing several Kapamilya films already including One More Try, She’s The One, and The Unmarried Wife. Kathryn also expressed her hopes in working with the Primetime Queen again.
Marian’s drama anthology show Tadhana is currently celebrating its second anniversary. It will be having its second anniversary specials on September 7 and 14 which will be titled “Serial Killer” and “CEO Maid”. Marian went on hiatus on the show for months during her maternity leave. She was then temporarily replaced by Dingdong.
