Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards‘s Hello, Love, Goodbye is on its fourth week and nearing a P1 billion mark it the box-office. It is now regarded as the second highest-grossing Filipino film-of-all-time next to the How’s Of Us.
The Box Office Queen admitted that the success of the Star Cinema film felt surreal for her and is grateful about it.
“Sabi ko nga nangyayari ba ’to? Ang ganda, ganda ng lahat ng nangyayari. Ewan ko, siguro lahat ng nararamdaman ko puro pasasalamat and I’m super duper happy, parang hindi ko alam na pwede mangyari ’to kasi wala naman ako in-expect talaga simula pa lang. Sobra-sobra ’yung binigay ni God na blessing,” the young actress said during a press meeting in 2019 All-Star Games on August 25.
Kathryn shared that she is not thinking about the film surpassing the success of her other box-office movie but she’s claiming for the success of the film as her way to dedicate it to all her fans.
“Hindi ko alam siguro, pati ako hindi makapaniwala, katulad ng nangyayaring reactions ng lahat, ganun din ako. Again siguro, sobrang grateful lang ako sa lahat ng nangyayari and lahat ‘to, sini-share ko lahat ng success na ‘to sa lahat ng fans, lahat din ng fans ni Alden, and of course kay DJ [Daniel Padilla] and kay direk Cathy, lahat to success namin.”
In the midst of a clamor for a sequel, Bernardo expressed her being open to the idea of working on a possible sequel for Hello, Love, Goodbye.
“Yes, of course. I’ m very open to that and let’s see siguro basta pag-balik siguro ni direk Cathy from her short break or tingnan natin kung payagan siya,” said Kathryn.
Her co-actor in the movie, Alden also said similar words. He is looking forward to a part two if the conditions allow.

I demand part two for HLG! Choosing your dream over someone is a very hard decision bc some people might say that you're selfish but i just admired Ethan for letting Joy do what she really wants not what he wants for her. #HelloLoveBegins #HelloLoveGoodbye
