Jimuel Pacquiao, the eldest son of Senator Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinkee, recently received an offer to do a Hollywood action movie.
Arnold L. Vegafria or ALV, the business manager of Senator Pacquiao, was the one who confirmed the news.
“Ang shoot daw ay Manila, Japan and the US,” ALV said in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on Agosto 29, Thursday afternoon, held at the Novotel Hotel, Araneta Center, Quezon City.
“Kung ma-confirm, malalaman natin by this year. Wala pa iyong final script, e. Then, siyempre, ano iyong package. Kasi siyempre, stop sa pag-aaral, sa pagte-train,” he shared.
In other news, it was also reported that Manny was supposed to be part of a Hollywood action film since several action stars in America idolize him, but Jimuel surprisingly got the offer instead.
“Kasi, because of the videos yata niya, iyong mga boxing niya. About boxing yata iyong film. So, nakikita iyong boxing skills niya, saka iyong action skills niya. So, nagkainteres.
“E, guwapo naman si Jimuel! Sana, matuloy. Pag natuloy, better for us.
“Di ko pa alam kung papayag si MP Manny Pacquiao. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Kung papayagan niya iyong anak niya. Kasi, nasa college na si Jimuel. Nasa La Salle na, e.”
Jimuel debuted in an amateur exhibition bout in July. His video made headlines on social media as he showed battling qualities and the aggressiveness during the match. He’s much like his father. Some believed that the 18-year-old Pacquiao could become a champion someday if he’s willing to work hard for it.
Jimuel also shared in an interview that he is eager to follow the footsteps of Pambansang Kamao and showed interest during his training.
He finished his upper school studies at Brent International School Manila in Biñan, Laguna on May 31.
He was recently caught up in a breakup controversy with young star Heaven Paralejo.
There were some who insinuated that the relationship was motivated by money but Jimuel himself denied the rumor. After coming out as a couple in March, the two were suspected to have split up after they unfollowed each other and deleted their photos together on their respective Instagram accounts.
