- Boy Abunda said that Julia Montes might return soon to the Philippines
- The actress is currently on vacation in Germany
- She became controversial for allegedly giving birth abroad to her child with Coco Martin
Talk show host Boy Abunda answered a question from a netizen asking for the latest information about Julia Montes. Currently, the actress is staying with her biological dad Martin Schnittka in Germany.
In response to the question, Boy said that Julia is set to return soon to the Philippines after several months of vacation as stated by her close friend Mylene Dizon.
The host then mentioned that the actress often chats with Mylene via Viber to ask for advice about cooking and exercising.
Mylene revealed in an interview, “Julia and I would still chat on Viber. There were times when she sought my advice, but only to ask about how to best cook her chicken, or which exercise she should do. We’re very good friends. Her last message to me [was sent] when she was vacationing in Germany. She said, ‘Malapit na, ’Nay. Uwi na ako.’”
Mylene became co-stars with Julia in the 2015 series Doble Kara. However, Mylene said she had no idea about Julia’s rumored pregnancy and supposedly giving birth to a child fathered by Coco Martin.
Julia made headlines on the internet after allegedly giving birth to a child last March. Though there have been no confirmations made, many believed that this was true.
Earlier this month, the actress also raised speculations about her showbiz comeback through her Instagram posts. Many netizens expressed their yearning for the actress who has been on hiatus for months.
Julia was last seen on TV in the 2018 drama Asintado alongside Lorna Tolentino, Paulo Avelino, Shaina Magdayao, Agot Isidro, Cherry Pie Picache, and Aljur Abrenica.
She began acting as a child on television by playing guest roles and starring in Goin’ Bulilit. She gained widespread recognition with her first significant role as the mean and spoiled Clara del Valle in the remake of Mara Clara (2010–11) with Kathryn Bernardo as Mara. She then made her film debut in the family drama Way Back Home (2011).
Her other well-known series also include Walang Hanggan (2012), Muling Buksan Ang Puso (2013), and Doble Kara (2015–17).
