- StarStruck ended quietly.
- StarStruck season 7 finale was a complete downgrade from previous seasons.
StarStruck Season 7 has ended with the crowning of its Ultimate Survivors Kim de Leon and Shayne Sava last September 15.
But compared to its previous seasons, this latest one lacked attention from the viewers as it ended quietly without much fanfare.
The season 7 grand finale was held at the studio of GMA network, a complete downgrade from the usual Araneta Coliseum finals.
Unlike the first few seasons where Araneta was jam-packed, the latest edition didn’t even merit a trip outside the Kapuso compound. And although Alden Richards was there to do special numbers it still didn’t attract that many viewers.
News reports about the show’s finale were also missing as it seemed only GMA Network’s website covered the results.
Social media was also silent on the two-day finale, with not much noise on Twitter or Facebook.
Meanwhile, in terms of ratings, GMA has yet to release the result of AGB Nielsen ratings on that day.
As for Kantar Media, StarStruck Season 7’s ‘The Final Judgement’ has registered a rating of 18%, 15.8% lower than its rival The Voice Kids which got an average ratings of 33.8%.
