- It looks like GMA Network is ready to give up their current primetime shows
- Beautiful Justice and The Gift already announced their pilot dates
- GMA Network’s current primetime is considered their weakest lineup in years
GMA Network’s current primetime lineup from Sahaya to Love You Two and then The Better Woman could be their weakest lineup for this year so far.
Data from both Kantar Media or NUTAM indicated that these shows did not benefit at all from the latest GMA Telebabad Switch. Sahaya fared better when it was in the second slot as did Love You Two in the third slot. The Better Woman is the only show that has not seen any progress in any of its timeslots.
Just few days ago, GMA Network put up their latest billboard containing their three new shows for GMA Telebabad saying, “Tutukan na ang all-new Kapuso Primetime.” This was shared on Twitter by Kapuso star Yasmien Kurdi.

GMA Network already announced Beautiful Justice will be replacing Sahaya starting September 9. Yasmien Kurdi, Gabbi Garcia, and Bea Binene will topbill the Kapuso teleserye about three women who will unite to get justice for the death of their loved ones. The killings of their loved ones were orchestrated by a syndicate.
September 16 marks Alden Richards’ return to primetime after doing the hit movie Hello, Love, Goodbye with Kathryn Bernardo. Titled The Gift, the series also stars Jo Berry, Jean Garcia, Mikee Quintos, Elizabeth Oropesa, Christian Vazquez, Ysabel Ortega, and Martin del Rosario. The show is expected to replace Love You Two in its timeslot.
Meanwhile, The Better Woman starring Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay which started only last July 1 and is now on its second month is believed to getting the ax pretty soon. One of the Baes top-billed by Rita Daniela and Ken Chan has begun their promotions already signaling the nearing ending of The Better Woman.
