“Si Alden he’s always been a very dedicated, loyal, and committed individual kung kaya naman tayong lahat ay nasisiyahan na patuloy siyang Kapuso.” he said.
Gozon, on the other hand, praised Richards’ humility despite his numerous success and achievements.

He started his showbiz career in 2010 and was given his first lead role via GMA afternoon soap Alakdana where he was paired with Louise Delos Reyes in 2011.
He was then cast in different Kapuso shows but it was his stint on Eat Bulaga in 2015 that gave him his first phenomenal success when he was paired with Yaya Dub Maine Mendoza which gave life to the phenomenal love team AlDub.
During the heydays of AlDub, Alden and Maine were all over different media platforms. Their popularity was enough to send Eat Bulaga’s rival It’s Showtime into a dire situation.
The phenomenon eventually died down and although AlDub remains on Eat Bulaga, Alden’s popularity started to dwindle again especially when he did projects away from the love team like the widely criticized telefantasya Victor Magtanggol which bowed down early to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
