- Ejay Falcon and Aljur Abrenica star in the Philippine drama television series, Sandugo
- Ejay reacts to comparisons between Sandugo and Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
Ejay Falcon stars in the newest Kapamilya Gold series Sandugo starting Monday, September 30.
The Kapamilya actor said that Sandugo is by far the most challenging show that he has done.
At talagang yung mga eksena namin, ang bibigat lalo na yung mga week 2, 3, mas matindi pa yon, ibang klase,” the actor said in an interview.
But does Ejay feel pressured with netizens comparing Sandugo to the longest-running primetime series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano? Netizens were saying that Sandugo is the afternoon version of Ang Probinsyano since they both are action-drama.
During the interview, the actor shared his thoughts on netizens’ comparison.
Ejay finds the comparison a good thing. To be compared with veteran and amazing cast of the Ang Probinsyano, means that their show is also good.
Does this mean that his acting skills have leveled up in this newest series? Is he doing better now with Sandugo?
“Opo, masasabi ko talaga. Pero yung term siguro is mas matured na Ejay yung makikita niyo dito. Yung sa fight scenes, sa delivery nung mga eksena, yung intensity, masasabi ko na this time, eh, yon nga, ibinigay kong lahat. Kung sa tingin nila, eh, level-up na matatawag yon, sige po, level-up,” proudly he answered.
Aside from his career success, how is Ejay’s relationship with girlfriend Jana Roxas? Are the two ready to tie the knot soon?
“Busy pa ako sa Sandugo, eh. At saka, hindi pa naman po ganun. Ini-enjoy muna namin yung journey ng relasyon namin. At saka buhos po talaga ang oras ko ngayon dito sa Sandugo,” the actor said.
Also in the cast of Sandugo are Aljur Abrenica, Elisse Joson, Jessy Mendiola, Cherry Pie Picache, Ariel Rivera, Vina Morales, and Gardo Versoza.
