Manila, Philippines — Duty Free Philippines (DFP), an attached agency of the Department of Tourism (DOT) will celebrate this year’s World Tourism Day with up to 50 percent discount on over 1,500 brands at the DFP Fiestamall Parañaque City on September 28-29, 2019.
The 2-day sale offers up to 50 percent discount on home furnishing; 30 percent on chocolates; 25 percent on jewelries; 20 percent on apparel, bags, sporting goods, jewellery, and watches; 15 percent on wine, liquor, and snacks, and 10 percent on groceries.
Save 20 percent off on perfumes and cosmetics at Fiestamall, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminasl 1, 2, and 3, and Mactan-Cebu International Airport Terminals 1 and 2.
DFP Chief Operating Officer (COO) said that DFP participates in celebrating the World Tourism Day to raise awareness on the contribution of the agency to the efforts in the development of the country’s tourism infrastructure, programs, and projects through its revenue remittances to DOT.
“Whenever travelers shop at DFP, they have the power to drive inclusive growth as every dollar spent helps in tourism development projects through our revenue share to DOT,” Angala said.

DFP will also gather elementary and high school students from five different schools in Parañaque City for an “Art Competition” with the theme “Lakbay Pamilya Saya!,” on Sept 27 to promote Family Tourism.
