- Bea Binene admitted she felt nervous about her new series going up against FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
- She is one of the leading actresses of Beautiful Justice
- The series will tackle on-going drug issues in our country
Kapuso actress Bea Binene is one of the stars of GMA Network’s newest series Beautiful Justice along with Gabbi Garcia and Yasmien Kurdi. Premiering September 9, Monday, in the network’s Telebabad line up, it is the newest rival of the Kapamilya top-rating action series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The Kapamilya show continues to reign primetime and has proven itself victorious against its 14 rival shows in the past.
Considering the immense popularity of the Coco Martin series, Bea admitted being nervous for Beautiful Justice going against the show.
“Parang kahit naman po sigurong sinong itapat parang kakabahan po di ba?” she said drawing laughter from the crowd.
She also urged viewers to appreciate the show without being biased.
“Pero ano siguro sabi ko nga sana po hindi nila makita ang Beautiful Justice as something na katapat lang ng Probinsyano. Sana po kapag napanood nila, bigyan nila kami ng chance ng walang bias. Yung kahit ano lang, first week lang panoorin lang nila nang wala munang bahid ng anything, ng clean slate kumbaga. Maganda yung story bigyan po nila ng chance yung story and very relevant and current din po kasi yung issues na pinapakita at tinatalakay sa show.”
Despite being put in a competition, Bea remained hopeful that the viewers will spend their time and put their trust in the new series.
“Pero ano eh trabaho eh. Ganun naman po talaga. Hindi naman po namin call yon. Ah nagtitwala po yung network na maganda yung show. So magtiwala po tayong lahat. Hindi para to go up against anything but nagtitiwala po sila dahil alam nilang maganda at magugustuhan ng
tao,” she said to the press during her launching event as the ambassador of Erase beauty products.
Beautiful Justice revolves around the story of Alice (Yasmien), Brie (Gabbi), and Kitkat (Bea) as their loved ones who are Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency agents get involved in a bloody operation, leading the three to get close to each other and look for justice.
The new show also includes Derrick Monasterio, Gil Cuerva, Victor Neri, Valeen Montenegro, and Bing Loyzaga.

The action-drama series is set to tackle one of the most relevant issues in our country – the war on drugs. Its all-female lead cast also underwent intense training sessions in preparation for the action-packed series.
Will Beautiful Justice finally mean the end to the four-year reign of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on Philippine TV?
