Alden Richards has been hailed as Asia’s Multimedia Star after starring in Hello, Love, Goodbye, the highest-grossing Pinoy film in Philippine history. He is now known as one of the highest-paid actors of GMA Network after his talent fee was increased.
During the mediacon of The Gift last September 3, Tuesday, Alden gave a hint about his upcoming projects on his ninth year as a Kapuso.
“Hindi po madamot ang GMA, di po sila madamot,” he said.
The Box Office King said that he has an upcoming GMA Pictures movie and a concert for his tenth year anniversary as a Kapuso in September 2020.
“In terms of projects po, eto pong The Gift gagawin ko po siya, upcoming movies. After the personal success of Hello, Love, Goodbye we’re very keen on doing a lot of quality projects din po as well and then yung on my tenth year po next year, there will be a concert po. Pinaplano na po namin siya so as early as now po sinasabi na namin po na may concert in my tenth year .Medyo focus po tayo to be visually na makita tayo in the international scene so in the second week of September, I’ll be in Thailand to attend an event po.”

Alden also addressed the clamor of fans for the possible Hello, Love, Goodbye sequel.
“Sa HLG part two naman po so far lahat naman po gustong gawin pero mas mahabang proseso yun, marami pa pong negotiations na kailangan pagdaanan,” Alden shared.
As he celebrates another year with the Kapuso channel, Alden expressed his gratitude through a heartfelt message for his mother network which nurtured his career for nine years.
Kasi being with the Kapuso network is one of the best decisions in my life and it’s my ninth year going on my tenth next year so there’s so much more to look forward to and mas habang tumatagal po ako sa GMA mas nagiging pamilya po yung trato nila sa akin at yung trato ko sa kanila. So I am where I’m supposed to be now. There is no question in that,” Alden concluded.
The Kapuso star continues to rise in prominence after starring the record-breaking film with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo and acclaimed director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Apart from this, the actor is also known for his historical live concert Tamang Panahon with his AlDub partner Maine Mendoza which was held on October 24, 2015. The benefit concert which was part of the Eat Bulaga’s presentation bagged a Guinness of World Records for their #AlDubEBTamangPanahon being the most used hashtag within 24 hours at 40.7m times.
Despite going on their separate ways earlier this year, Maine and Alden remain friends and still work together on Eat Bulaga.
Maine also showed her support for Alden’s movie collaboration with Kathryn, even watching it twice.
