The Advertising Foundation of the Philippines’ executive committee and the 11th Araw Values Awards organizing committee recently presented a joint resolution and special declaration honoring the late ABS-CBN foundation chairman Regina Paz “Gina” Lopez for her staunch efforts in protecting and preserving the environment.
Lopez will also be given a posthumous Tanglaw ng Araw ng Kalikasan award at the 11th Araw Values Awards in November that will be held at ABS-CBN’s Dolphy Theater as the network and the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines sealed once more its partnership for the awarding ceremony that will have a telecast in December.
ABS-CBN chairman emeritus “Gabby” EugenioLopez III, ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN chief operating officer of broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN group chief finance officer Ron Valdueza, and ABS-CBN head of integrated sales August Benitez, as well as representatives from the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines, led the signing of the partnership.
The Araw Values Advertising Awards aims to recognize advertising campaigns that uphold Filipino values based on the Ad Foundation’s cornerstone values such as love of God; commitment to truth, honesty, and integrity; and respect for national customs and traditions, among others.
