- The General’s Daughter continues to reign in its timeslot
- The Better Woman still struggles to beat rival The General’s Daughter
The Better Woman is still having a hard time trying to win against its rival program The General’s Daughter. From its pilot episode, the drama series of Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres failed to snatch the crown from Angel Locsin’s action-packed drama series.
In the data recorded by National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), the Kapamilya primetime show dominated over The Better Woman by almost twice the rating that the latter garnered for the week of July 22 to 26.
In The Better Woman last week, Juliet does everything just to make her brother-in-law Andrew fall for her while pretending to be a good sister to Jasmine and a dutiful daughter to her mother. Now, Andrew is bothered by her every move. It’s just a matter of time before he completely falls for her tempting trap.
The winning highlights of The General’s Daughter from last week include the execution of Rhian, Marcial, and Franco’s plan to spy on Tiago. In their epic disguises by switching genders, the trio attended Tiago’s campaign event. However, because of their almost failed mission, Tiago found out that Rhian and Marcial are still alive.
