This set social media abuzz and Nadine was soon tagged as the “Beyonce of Southeast Asia” by Korea Duty Free News. According to the article of the international news site, Nadine was described as “a versatile entertainer who acts as an actor, singer, and music video director.”
During the grand mediacon of her movie Indak last July 18, Nadine was asked for her reaction to the Beyonce tag,
The actress said that she was clueless about the news and she confessed that it seems surreal for her.
“Beyonce? Totoo po ba ‘yun? Parang di lang po ako makapaniwala. Hindi ko po alam kung paano po nangyari ‘yun basta nabalitaan ko na lang po na may ganun,” she said.
Most of her fans agreed with the comparison and wrote congratulatory messages for her.
Nadine without a doubt is the epitome of a woman with pure grace and substance.
A slayer of any mood & temper.

And the good thing about this is that this didn’t come from us. It’s great that she’s called the Beyonce of Asia😊

But some netizens expressed their opposition to the news saying that Nadine is not worthy of the title.

This year, the actress was the recipient of three Best Actress Awards from different award-giving bodies, namely FAMAS, Gawad Urian, and Young Critics Circle, for her 2018 movie Never Not Love You. The Multi-media Princess remained modest when she was asked about her thoughts on her current booming career.
“I guess.. Ako naman po kasi hindi naman po ako nagbibilang. So every year, it’s probably a good year. Nagkataon lang, alam mo yun yung ibang mga years may challenges and all but every year kasi I become a different person and become a better person,” Nadine shared.
“Just have fun and be real, be myself. Huwag kakalimutan kung saan yung pinanggalingan,” she added.
Nadine is currently starring in the dance musical film Indak with Sam Concepcion. The first-ever Pinoy dance movie under Viva premiered last August 7 in cinemas.
